It is well known that Andhra Pradesh government is taking land for construction of new capital from farmers. Challenging the government farmers had filed a petition in High Court. On the hearing of this High Court has directed the Commissioner CRDA to delete the names of the farmers who are not willing to give their land for construction of new capital.

It is a major relief to Andhra Pradesh farmers regarding the land pooling.  The high court has also ordered the Commissioner to submit detailed report to the court within 15 days. P Sudhakar Reddy, the lawyer for the farmers, said it was a victory of the farmers.
