Hyderabad: BJP seems to be in dilemma on how to react with Pattiseema project launched by TDP government in which it is also a partner. So far, none of its leaders have made any comments on this project. They remain silent even when the Congress and the YSR Congress parties are strongly opposing the project. But, for the first time, BJP leader D Purandeswari also objected the project. She said “The Centre has granted national status for Polavaram project. Hence, there is no need to start another project now. Pattiseema project is mere waste of money. So, the central government will not grant any funds to this project.”

If, her statement is considered to be the BJP stand, then the TDP can expect fresh problems from the BJP also in the coming days. However, it is to be noted that she avoid directly criticizing the ruling TDP, whereas the Congress and the YSR Congress parties are arguing that the project is launched merely for the sake of TDP leaders and their contractors.
