Congress Senior Leader & Former Union Minister Kotla Surya Prakash Reddy's Family is likely to bid adieu to the National Party and join the ruling TDP very soon.
Reportedly, Kotla Surya Prakash Reddy's Son Raghavendra Reddy had already met TDP Coordinator Nara Lokesh on few occasions to discuss the matter.

In an attempt to strengthen party in Kurnool district, TDP offered MLC Post to Kotla Surya Prakash Reddy's Wife Sujathamma and even promised to make promote her as Minister thereafter. Kotla's Family is taking its time to give the approval. The other proposal is to nominate Kotla Surya Prakash Reddy for Rajya Sabha and make him a Union Minister using the alliance with NDA. Followers of Kotla Surya Prakash Reddy confirmed the reports of talks with TDP.

Out of 2 MP and 14 MLA Segments in Kurnool district, TDP managed to win only 3 Assembly segments in 2014 General Elections.  So the ruling party is keen on strengthen the party with the support of Kotla's Family which has got a good reputation.
