AP capital region,AP capial master plan,AP capital master plan Blue print

Today, Singapore's Minister for Trade and Industry Iswaran handed over the master plan for AP's capital city, Amaravathi, to the chief minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu. The foundation stone for the capital construction will be laid on the 6th and the construction works will commence on the auspicious day of Vijaya Dasami. The developmental activities in the capital region will last until 2050.

As per blueprint, a world class capital city is surely on its way, featuring island resorts, golf courses, island theme park, residential complexes on the waterfront etc since the capital will be built on the banks of River Krishna. The Singapore Corporation Enterprise (SCE) and the Swachh Andhra Corporation (SAC) signed an MOU on Solid Waste Management and to adapt the urban management principles of Singapore to the capital city.

However, it is the promise of a world class capital featuring several amenities that is prominently attracting the AP citizens. The entire capital region will be built in a sprawling 270 square kms of land, entirely designed based on vastu. The entire length and breadth of Amaravathi will be well connected to world class expressways which will be built across 127 kms.

Designated business and financial district, Bus Rapid Transit System which could be upgraded to Mass Rapid Transit System (Metro), excellently walkways and cycle ways, cricket stadium on the banks of Krishna etc are some of the salient features of the master plan. If only all the proposed features are executed in reality, AP will no doubt be placed among the global map.
