Hyderabad: TDP may be quite disappointed to hear the High Court verdict on its petition filed against its three MLAs serving the TRS party now. It appeals the court to prohibit MLAs Talasani Srinivas Yadav, Teegala Krishna Reddy and Challa Dharma Reddy from taking part in the MLC elections as they are still continuing as TDP MLAs. The High Court responding on its petition stated that it can’t intervene into this matter at this moment and so both the TDP and Congress MLAs joined the TRS party are allowed to take part in the MLC elections.
Hence, three MLAs of TDP and four MLAs of the Congress party, who are currently serving the TRS can cast their votes to the TRS candidate. The court verdict comes as a blessing for TRS as it is struggling to garner support to its 5th candidate.
Today, the IT and Panchayati Raj Minister K Taraka Rama Rao has approached MIM, CPI, CPM and YSR Congress parties for their support to his party MLC candidate, for which MIM and YSRCP said to be positively responded. However, still the TRS MLC candidate may need another 7 MLAs support to win the elections. TRS is quite confident of its 5th candidate’s victory also.
