No More Revenge Porn On Google, sexually charged photograph or video, world most popular search engine Google
The world's most popular search engine Google has started to delete all the videos containing the Revenge Porn material that includes the deletion of sexually explicit images and videos. Revenge Porn is an old school concept in which a person uploads a sexually charged photograph or video without the consent or knowledge of the person in the clippings with the sole aim of taking revenge.
Popular entertainment and technology magazine Verge reported that Google will soon be setting up a new web form in which the victims can request the removal of their pictures and videos displaying them nude or in sexually provocative positions that they did within the presence of their partners and without expecting them to be published online.
Google is also coming up with a new policy in which the damage caused by Revenge Porn material will be limited to a great extent. In a blog post, Google stated that 'Revenge Porn images are intensely personal and emotionally damaging, and serve only to degrade the victims'. This new policy comes as a relief to many since there have been reports about death of several victims of Revenge Porn.
