Telangana states’ Information Technology Minister KTR who is touring US to seek investments for the state met IT giants’ top leaders in Silicon Valley urging them to invest in Telangana. The Minister elucidated the details of several policies initiated by the government to the top executive of Adobe Systems, Oracle and others.
Shantanu Narayen, CEO of Adobe Systems who hails from Hyderabad assured KTR that the city would be factored into their growth plans and also that he would extend all possible cooperation for development of the city.
KTR also met Oracle CEO Mark Hurd where the Oracle team informed that Hyderabad would feature significantly in their future growth plans.
Next was K.R. Sridhar, CEO of Bloom Energy, which is the manufacturer of innovative fuel cell technology. As the minister invited Bloom Energy to set up their manufacturing plant in Telangana along with an invitation to adopt a village and power it with Bloom Energy fuel cells, the CEO provided a positive response stating that the team would visit Hyderabad for further discussions.
Renowned venture capitalist Kanwal Rekhi and Keerti Melkote of Aruba Networks who were invited by KTR to be a part of the T - Hub initiative of Telangana also agreed to extend all possible help for all round development of the state.
