Husnabad: The State government has cracked the whip on lethargic contractors who did not perform. The tough stand of the government resulted in the cancellation of tenders for the construction of Thotapalli balancing reservoir in Bejjanki mandal. Irrigation Minister Harish Rao said the contractor would be placed in the blacklist and the amount sanctioned for mobilisation would be recovered fully. The Minister visited various projects in Husnabad constituency in Karimnagar on Thursday.
