Hyderabad: AP Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu said here on Sunday that he has requested actor and Jana Sena President Pawan Kalyan to cooperate with the Government in the construction of the Capital City.

Speaking to reporters after a one-and-a-half-hours meeting with the actor, Chandrababu said that liberal compensation is being given to farmers who have given their lands for capital city.

"I told him we are seeking people's participation in the construction of capital city and farmers are getting liberal compensation for their lands. I requested him to cooperate with Government in the construction of capital city," he said.

Earlier, Pawan Kalyan went to the residence of Chandrababu Naidu at Jubilee Hills and discussed the issue with him. The meeting has gained significance in the wake of farmers taking out processions in the capital city area recently and asking him to intervene on their behalf to ensure justice for them.
