YSRCP Leader Prasad Reddy's brutally murder took place in Rapthadu Tehsildar Office in Anantapur district when he was attacked by 6 men. It is being said that TDP leaders are involved in the murder of the YCP leader. YCP activists are protesting this murder and have set the Tehsildar Office on fire. In 2004 3 BC TDP leaders have been killed and that Prasad Reddy was behind the scenes in this murder. Prasad Reddy group compromised with TDP group in 2011. Recently, Prasad Reddy's wife contested in the panchayat elections and that has triggered fresh clashes again.
