Former MLA Labbi Venkateswamy got the shock of his life after a Court declared him guilty and sentenced to 1 year in jail.

Erramanzil Fast Track Court on Friday delivered its judgement in the Cheque Bounce case. Apart from the legislator, Jangam Gopi and Ramesh Bandari were awarded jail term.

Labbi Venkateswamy had represented Nandikotkur Assembly segment in Kurnool district as MLA in the past. The Cheque Bounce case has been filed against the trio 6 years ago and its related to Real Estate activity in Medak district.
