Karimnagar: Inspector General of Police, North Zone, V Naveen Chand said that high resolution closed circuit (CCTV) cameras will be installed in four districts- Karimnagar, Warangal, Adilabad and Khammam. The process of installing the state-of-the-art equipment set commence in week’s time.
Speaking to reporters at Police Headquarters, here on Wednesday, IG informed that CC TV cameras will capture images even during the night time and even in heavy rains. He informed that Karimnagar district was ahead in providing safety measures to people and installation of cameras is part of that process. Earlier, he inaugurated police martyrs memorial statue in his campus.
Earlier in the morning, Naveen Chand inaugurated Mission Kakatiya works in Yallamma tank in Chinnalingapur village of Sircilla mandal. Speaking on the occasion, he appreciated Karimnagar cops for adopting tank as part of the mission and also appealed all sections of the people to take part in it.
