Hyderabad: TDP MLC Gali Muddukrishnama Naidu said on Tuesday that Andhra Pradesh and Telangana have rights on joint capital of Hyderabad.

Speaking to the media at NTR Trust Bhavan, the TDP leader alleged that TS ACB officials are framing false cases against the TDP leaders without informing the Governor.

He stressed on the need of AP police stations in Hyderabad. Gali made it clear that Governor has special powers on Hyderabad as per Section 8 of the AP Reorganisation Act.

“AP has rights and share in the institutions listed in scheduled 9 and 10 of AP Reorganisation Act,” he added.

He demanded the arrest of TS CM KCR and MLA Stephenson in phone-tapping case as the AP government has evidence in the case.
