The proposed delimitation of wards has become a headache for GHMC. It is stipulated that there should not be overlapping of wards and circles among zones. At present there are five zones, 18 circles with 150 wards. People are facing great inconvenience due to overlapping of some circles. To avoid this, delimitation of wards has been proposed. But this has become a tremendous task for the GHMC, which is considering increasing the number of wards.
