Speculations were ripe that a court hall in Mysuru is a haunted place. The 'Ghost Room' remained closed since the past 9 months and it is now used more like a storeroom.
Until May 2014, First Additional Sessions Judge delivered several verdicts in sensational cases in this court room. Unfortunately, The judge died in a road mishap last year. Ever since then speculations dubbing it as a 'ghost-room' have been under circulation. Court Authorities have locked the room, giving strength to the rumours that this is a haunted place.
About 90 Lawyers of Mysore Bar Association condemned the rumours that were in circulations. They claimed to be having high regards for the deceased judge who was known for his integrity and blamed rumourmongers for trying to tarnish his image with speculative reports.
