The TRS government has relented on the promise of fee reimbursement for rankers. Earlier, it permitted the fee reimbursement to only first 5,000 rankers. As several ministers advised the CM that this would backfire, he issued orders to increase the number of rankers eligible for fee reimbursement to 10,000. All SC, ST students, irrespective of ranks, will get full fee reimbursement.
