With the go ahead given by the central government on setting up the new international airport in Bhogapuram mandal of Vizianagaram, however witnessed obstruction with locals staging protest.

The locals stated that the protests will continue until the government takes back the decision. Stating that the lands will be destroyed, the locals asked the government not to forcefully take away their lands.
