Rajya Sabha Member V. Hanumantha Rao on Monday expressed concern at the rising number of deaths of people who were in some way connected to Vyapam scam and demanded a probe by the CBI.

‘Hindutva hand’

Regretting Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s silence over Vyapam and other issues actively being discussed in society, he wondered why Mr. Modi had not spoken about it in his much-talked-about radio programme ‘Man ki baat’. The AICC secretary alleged that he distinctly saw the hand of a Hindutva outfit in the Vyapam scam and said it worked out to a whopping Rs. 2,000 crore.
