Television serials are showing negative impact on children. An incident of a 12-year-old girl student getting married to a 22-year-old came to light in Visakhapatnam district in Andhra Pradesh. While talking to the media, girl said that she liked one of the serials named 'Chinnari Pelli Kuthuru' and added that she will continue her studies after marriage similar to that of 'Anandi' character in the serial.
