Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu Friday asked Reliance to roll out 4G services in the state by April next year. He announced that the 4G services will be rolled out in three phases. The first phase will cover all municipalities. He asked the company to ensure that the services begin by April 1, 2015.

The chief minister also directed the officials to grant permission to Reliance to upgrade its 502 cellphone towers to 4G. Reliance executives Rajiv Luthra and Raghu Raja met Naidu here and sought permission to upgrade the towers, said a statement from the chief minister's office.
