Hyderabad: Hyderabad city police have acquired high-quality special software for enhancing the clarity of the Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) cameras footage. “A few cases have remained undetected due to poor resolution in the CCTV cameras footage which makes cops job cumbersome in establishing suspects/persons and in pursuing clues. To overcome the challenge, city police acquired the special software for clarity development of the images,” a release from the Hyderabad CP office, said.

According to the release, the software would be made available at all police stations and other investigation teams/units. With the help of the software, the images captured by the CCTV cameras would be improved in resolution which would lead to easy detection. This would be another milestone in use of technology for quality policing in the city.
