Special chief secretary Pradeep Chandra committee is likely to submit its recommendations on Pay Revision Commission (PRC) report to the state government in the second week of February.

The Pradeep Chandra Committee started consultations with the employees’ unions at the Secretariat on Thursday. Representatives of TNGOs, TGOs and others met the committee members and expressed their views.

While the PRC recommended 29 per cent fitment, the employees’ unions wanted 59 to 69 per cent fitment. The committee will invite teachers and others unions on Feb 3, 6 and 9 and later meet the finance department officials. They will submit their recommendations on PRC to the government in the second week of February.
