APCC president Raghuveera Reddy today demanded CBI investigation into the cash for vote scam that witnessed the arrest and jailing of TDP MLA Revanth Reddy.

Addressing a press conference here, Raghuveera asked Chandrababu whether or not he is involved in the scam intended to buy MLAs in the MLC polls.

"You can not attain purity and absolve yourself of all charges by your counter offensive in the case. Tell the world whether you are involved or not in the scam, " he asked Chandrababu Nidu

In another press conference , opposition leader in the AP legislative Council C.Ramachandraiah asked Chandrababu to quit his posts as CM and party president to allow fair probe in the cash for vote scam.

"Why did the union Minister Piyush Goel come to Hyderabad? Is it to negotiate a deal between KCR and Chandrababu?" he asked.
