Telugu Desam Party,Sandra Venkata Veeraiah,Telangana Anti-Corruption Bureau,cash-for-vote scam,Chandrababu Naidu,Revanth was arrested
Telugu Desam Party legislator from Sattupalli in Khammam district Sandra Venkata Veeraiah is said to be terribly upset with party leadership and also his colleagues for their poor response to his arrest by the Telangana Anti-Corruption Bureau in connection with the cash-for-vote scam.
While there was a lot of hue and cry in the TDP leaders and cadre over the arrest of party legislator from Kodandal A Revanth Reddy, the response to Sandra's arrest was very lukewarm.
There were angry reactions from top to bottom – right from party president N Chandrababu Naidu to the local leaders when Revanth was arrested. But this time, there was no such hungama in the party.
Not a single leader, leave alone Naidu, made any strong comment against Sandra’s arrest. There was quietness in the NTR Trust Bhavan and Andhra leaders have kept their mouths shut, while Naidu is busy touring Japan.
Naturally, it has upset Sandra, his family members and also his well-wishers. The talk that is doing rounds in the party circles is that Naidu had come to a secret understanding with Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao and ensured that his name does not figure in the case. And, so, he has little concern for Sandra and others!
