Special Status for AP Not Easy says Naidu,Special Status of Andhra Pradesh not easy,Special Status for AP
Union Urban Development Minister M. Venkaiah Naidu on Saturday hinted that "Special Status" for the truncated Andhra Pradesh is "not easy". Speaking at a public event in AP, Venkaiah made it clear that the acceptance of all other states is "must" for Centre to accord "Special Status" for AP.
It's been over 8 months the new government at Centre is formed and not even one significant step regarding betterment of new AP has been taken. Though the likes of Venkaiah and Modi promised to accord Special Status and Financial package for the state during polls, non "going back" on the promise is really worrying the people of AP.
Though Chandrababu-led TDP trying its best and running from pillar to the post, Modi-led BJP is delaying the things. It can be noted that BJP-then in Opposition played pivotal role in the passing of AP Reogranisation Bill and promised "all sort of support" to the new state which is formed with deficit budget.
