Swine flu cases in Hyderabad on rise
Another five fell victims to the Swine Flu. According to the reports, five patients tested positive for swine flu in the city on Tuesday, taking the toll to 23 cases in January alone.
Among the victims were, three children, a two-year-old, a three-year-old and a five-year-old have tested positive for swine flu. One child is undergoing treatment at Gandhi Hospital, while the rest are being treated in private hospitals.
“Parents must not take cold and fever lightly if their children are below five years. They must get the tests done,” said Pediatrician Dr S. Krishna
The other patients are a 50-year-old man and a 27-year-old woman. Five people died due to swine flu in December. The government, however, has claimed it was due to multi-organ failure.
