Telugu Desam Party has a strong cadre in Telangana and this loyalty has fetched them a respectable number [12 seats] in the last elections. Though the cadre remained as strong as ever, the party is getting weak with each passing day as their leaders are running behind TRS party.

From Tummala to Talasani, Telangana TDP has lost many of its prominent leaders and is on the verge of fighting for their survival in Telangana. The latest to join this list of jumpers is Chinnappa Reddy. Representing Nalgonda constituency, Tera Chinnappa Reddy was renowned for his historic fight with Congress leader Jana Reddy in the 2014 elections. Though he has lost the elections, his following was unrivaled.

In an event at Telangana Bhavan in Hyderabad, Chinnappa has joined the pink troupe and he was welcomed by the chief minister KCR himself. The CM was accompanied by Harish Rao and Mahender Reddy. Along with Chinnappa, many leaders from Peddha Amberpet constituency have also joined in TRS party today.

With losing its leaders one by one, it has to be seen if Telugu Desam can stand strong in these tough times and stay intact until the next assembly elections.
