Telangana CM KCR's one man show won't work
Many people were of the view that TRS chief K Chandrashekar Rao will shed away his divisive politics once Telangana turned a reality after the bifurcation of the state. However, surprisingly he continued in the same vein and many criticise him for behaving like a leader who is leading a movement rather than a head of state-the chief minister of Telangana.
Many parties fight bitterly and make serious allegations during elections but after elections, it's business as usual between the states and the centre. However, KCR as the chief minister of Telangana, started waging a war against Chandrababu Naidu, the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh. He did not stop there, he even abused Prime Minister Narendra Modi using choicest of names.
While many chief ministers are trying to be in the good books of the centre to get funds for development of their respective states, KCR has not stopped his Modi and Babu bashing. True that Telangana is blessed with surplus budget. But to continue all his policies and fulfill poll promises, he will need more funds. Can he with his confrontational attitude develop the new state without any cooperation from neighbouring states and Centre? Can he develop without funds from the Centre? Only KCR can answer this question.
