It's a matter of great pride for Telanganiites as one of the athletes from the region has bagged the first gold medal for the newly formed state at the 35th National Games being held in Kerala. Manjith Singh and Devender Singh have won gold medal in rowing.

Soon as news reached the Chief Minister's Office in Hyderabad, Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao congratulated the winners and hailed their efforts to bring glory to the state.
