Deepti, a well known Telugu serial artiste, killed herself on Friday.

Though the case was registered as one of a suspicios death, post-mortem reports  released on Sunday said the actress died due to suicide.

Deepti was the leading lady in Telugu serials such as Adade Adharam, Ahwaanam and Lucky Lakshmi. Deepthi took her career to next step by entering into production recently. Her suicide came as a shock to many in the field. In the past, however, she had complained that her husband was harassing her. After this, things were calm on her front.

Deepti alias Rama Lakshmi, who hailed from Tanuku in West Godavari, came to Hyderabad 7 years ago to chase her dreams of becoming a star. Strangely, she had also captured the images of her putting the noose around her neck on her  I Pad. No suicide note was found at the spot.
