A section of Telangana unit of BJP is strongly lobbying within the party for a tie-up with ruling TRS, say highly-placed sources. Although few senior leaders are against to the proposal and even Central Minister Bandaru Dattatreya has openly expressed their disinterest for an alliance with BJP, the buzz is that many of BJP MLAs are in favour of joining hands with TRS. None other than BJP Telangana state president and Amberpet MLA Kishan Reddy wants BJP to ditch TDP in Telangana and sail with TRS.
As per the insiders, deal is that KCR would induct two BJP MLAs into his cabinet and give them ministerial berths. In return, KCR wants Central Cabinet posts to his daughter-Nizamabad MP Kavita and TRS general secretary Keshav Rao. "KCR may seek two berths in Modi cabinet and in return he would make 2 BJP MLAs as his ministers," said a source in the know.
Although TRS is very keen on joining Narendra Modi brigade as per above the deal , it'd take sometime for this to be materialised. TRS wants to postpone the proposal till GHMC elections where it is depending on its ally MIM which is strong player in Hyderabad and has big section of Muslim voters along with.
