TV technician,TV technician gets honorary,honorary doctorate,Rajesh Pentakota
Visakhapatnam: A local TV technician and self-made toy maker of a different sort, Rajesh Pentakota, who has been in news for his innovative crafts, added another feather on his cap by bagging a honorary doctorate in ‘Record Breaking’. Rajesh was awarded the doctorate by the World Record University for making a unique and tallest model of functional human body with clay at a function held in Faridabad, Uttar Pradesh, recently.
President of Vietnamese Academy of Science and Technology and promoter of creativity Dr Hoang Quang Thuan presented the honorary degree in the presence of Le Tran Troung An, chief editor of Vietnam Book of Records and Rachna Sharma, head, India office, World Records University. A graduate in Commerce, Rajesh has been eking out his livelihood as a TV technician and since his childhood, he was interested in making various science project models. He has made many live functional models including Lord Ganesh and the way how Muslims offer Namaz.
A six-foot homo sapien, created by him, brought him the laurel. The clay craft, created with rubber mould and clay shows how every part of human body functions. In the functional human body model, he displayed blood circulation to the entire body and the heartbeat with the help of current supply. In recognition of his unique work models, he has already entered into Limca Book of World Records, India Book of Records and Asia Book of Records.
