Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal on Monday asked Prime Minister Narendra Modi not to remain silent over the Vyapam scam.

In the last three days, three deaths have taken place in Madhya Pradesh, all in connection to the Vyapam Scam.

"People want prime minister to speak and intervene in Vyapam. PM should no more remain silent," he said in a tweet.

On Saturday, a Delhi investigative journalist Akshay Singh suddenly died when he had gone to interview the family of another deceased in the Vyapam Scam in Madhya Pradesh.

On Monday morning, a trainee sub-inspector Anamika Kushwaha, recruited through Vyapam, allegedly committed suicide in the police academy.

In the last two years, 44 deaths have been reported in connection to the Vyapam Scam.

According to reports, the trainee cop was mentally stressed which could have triggered the alleged suicide.
