A woman, Mangamma died and another woman was injured, when they were hit by the police escort vehicle of AP CM Chandrababu's convoy during his tour of Polavaram, in West Godavari district, today. The speeding vehicle rammed into the wall of a house, killing the woman instantly. The constable, who drove the vehicle was arrested. Babu announced an ex gratia of Rs. 5 lakh to the family of the victim.
