An 18-year-old girl was allegedly gangraped by two of her acquaintances in South Delhi's RK Puram late on Friday night.

A case has been registered at RK Puram police station while the two accused are still at large.

According to the girl's complaint, the two accused befriended her through a placement agency and assured her of providing a job. On Friday night they took her to a secluded place on the pretext of celebrating her birthday and raped her.

"The accused men called the victim to meet them for a birthday celebration but instead took her to a secluded place and raped her, " said a police officer.

The girl has been sent for a medical examination and police are trying to trace the accused.
