Hyderabad: Paleru MLA and former minister Ramreddy Venkat Reddy passes away in KIMS hospital on Saturday. Ram Reddy has been suffering from respiratory ailments for a long time. He was hospitalized as his health condition deteriorated.
Telangana Roads and Buildings and Women and Child Welfare Minister Tummala Nageswara Rao called on ailing Ramreddy Venkat Reddy few days back. The Minister enquired about Ram Reddy’s health condition from the doctors and wished him speedy recovery.
Ramreddy Venkat Reddy is representing Paleru Assembly constituency in Khammam district of Andhra Pradesh. He served as Minister for Horticulture in the cabinet of N. Kiran Kumar Reddy. He was also a member of YS Rajasekhar Reddy cabinet.
Ram Reddy Venkat Reddy was elected as an MLA for four terms. He has represented Sujata Nagar Constituency of Khammam district before it was demerged during 2009 Assembly elections. He contested and won from Paleru in 2009 elections. He defeated Tammineni Veera Bhadram of CPM (Mahakutami candidate) in that elections. Kolisetti Nageswara Rao and Inguva Rama Krishna contested in 2009 elections on Lok Satta and BJP tickets respectively.
