Hyderabad: Hours before Rajya Sabha MP G Sudharani joined the TRS on Saturday, Telangana TDP suspended her from the party for indulging in anti-party activities.
Party Disciplinary Committee member A Narsa Reddy said the party had adopted an unanimous resolution on the suspension of Sudharani.
The MP, who is from Warangal district, had met TRS President and Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao in New Delhi during the latter’s official visit recently.
Meanwhile, Sudharani joined the TRS in the presence of party President K Chandrashekar Rao at party head office, Telangana Bhavan.
Speculations are doing rounds that Sudharani will be given MLC or party ticket in 2019 Assembly election. She has been asked to join the campaign in the bypoll to Warangal Parliamentary Constituency scheduled to be held on November 21.
