Demanding that the government pay them a monthly salary of Rs.10, 000 respectively Andhra Pradesh State Anganwadi workers make protest in Vizag. Anganwadi workers demanded the ruling government TDP to fulfil their demands of Salary increment where TDP Chief Chandra Babu Naidu supported them while TDP is in opposition. According to Anganwadi workers, after acquiring power Chandra Babu Naidu forgot the promise made to them where he supported the demand of Anganwadi workers salary increment during Congress rule.

Anganwadi workers are making protest at Visakhapatnam collector office to announce their salary increments in current budget sessions. Yesterday Opposition party YSRCP MLA Roja moved an adjournment motion on Anganwadi Worker's issues but the speaker rejected the motion and he asked the MLA to use a different form to give a notice of adjournment motion.
