Telangana Government will look into the question of conducting a separate admission test for engineering stream after Intermediate as engineering seats filled through EAMCET are more than medicine and agriculture in the state, said Deputy Chief Minister Kadiyam Srihari.

He informed the Telangana Assembly during question hour on Saturday that the Government had already decided to conduct separate EAMCET for the Telangana students.

Earlier, Ajay Kumar Puvvada (Congress) felt that there was no need for separate entrance test for engineering students in view of the seats going abegging. He wanted to know who would conduct the admission process for the medical stream since there was a lot of confusion among the students.
