Couple of days back Income Tax Department seized the Liquor godowns temporarily in Telangana state because of the Income tax for the year 2012-13 by the Excise Department was not paid to the Income Tax Department. Today, High Court ordered to continue the IT department stay on Liqiour godowns fro two more weeks and ordered Telangana Government to file counter petition n Liquor Godown seize and IT notices case within a two weeks.  A week back wine dealers association in Telangana filed a petition to remove the stay, after hearing the petition HC ordered to continue the stay for two more weeks.
