Megastar Chiranjeevi's landmark 150th film launch got delayed since he is currently busy with arrangements of his daughter Srija's wedding. The film to be directed by VV Vinayak is likely to be launched in April and regular shooting will commence from May, if things go as planned.
Buzz is that, actress Nayanthara has been approached to play Chiranjeevi's heroine in the highly anticipated film. Discussions are currently on and if remuneration matter settles, then Nayanthara is most likely to star in Chiranjeevi's 150th film which is a remake to Tamil hit Kaththi, adds the buzz.
Nayanthara is one of the most sought after heroines in south and she is the highest paid actress at the moment. Grapevine is that, the starlet is demanding whopping Rs 2.5 crores to sign Chiru's film. If things go well, this would be first film for Nayan with Chiru and third with VV Vinayak.
Pre production works are underway for the yet to be titled film and the writing department is making several changes to the script to suit Telugu sensibilities. The film marks Ram Charan's foray into film production.
