Sri, as she is fondly called, former heroine Sridevi is now aiming to do women-centric movies but that is restricted only for Bollywood. In Tamil and Telugu, she wants to pick films that offer her a huge pay packet it seems as she was paid heavily for her small role in Vijay-Hansika's forthcoming flick. What about Tollywood anyway?

Whenever there is a new heroine entering the show-biz business, Telugu producers and directors don't mind spending a hefty pay check to bring them on board. Recently we heard that a noted producer approached Sridevi for a mother role in a Telugu flick opposite a big star. They say that UV Productions approached her for Prabhas' movie, but there is no clarity over that. Anyway, Sri's husband Boney Kapoor quoted nearly 5 crores in case if they want her dates for real.

That's too much of an investment, because at that price we can hire both Kareena Kapoor and Deepika Padukone for two special songs such that the movie will get huge attention. Still if producers want to go, then it's gonna be a bad bet from business point of view.
