The Telugu Movie Artistes' Association has apparently lost Rs 7 Crore in seven years. According to reports, CCL founder and MD Vishnu Induri had offered MAA Rs 1 Crore some seven years ago and the only thing MAA had to do was to send 11 players to represent Tollywood team. Although MAA discussed the offer with in their panel members, it didn't materialise as MAA did not arrive consensus with CCL then.
CCL Vishnu has offered half of the amount to Kannada Film Artistes Association (KFCC) and it agreed instantly. "Today KFCC has their own building in Bengaluru and they've invited me for the inaugural," shared Vishnu Induri. Vishnu's CCL has doled out Rs 3.5 Crore to KFCC in these seven years. Had MAA accepted the offer then, it'd have had garnered Rs 7 Crore by now and MAA too would have had a sprawling building.
The rumour has it that MAA is more focused in its internal politics rather than concentrating on the development of its 700-odd members.
