Recently, we reported that the Bollywood's star couple Anurag Kashyap and Kalki Koechlin are headed for a divorce. The actress confirmed that they were living separately for the last couple of years and that they finally applied for divorce. However, the couple still remains good friends and the director has surprised his ex-wife by attending the premiere of Kalki's upcoming film Margarita With a Straw.

Margarita With a Straw is a coming of age film of a young lady suffering from cerebral palsy and the film showcases Margarita's sexual orientation and self love. The film has been premiered at several international film festivals and is finally releasing in India this Friday. Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan is releasing the film and he held a special premiere for Bollywood celebs. Stars like Amitabh Bachchan were emotionally moved and were appreciative after the film's screening.

In a media interaction after the screening, Anurag heaped praises on Kalki and said that she always wanted to do such kind of films and that he saw her preparing for the film when they both were living together. Naturally, Kalki is quite thrilled with her ex-husband's compliments and the two are seen in a jovial mood after a year of troublesome separation.
