Aaliyah Ebrahim is gaining lots of attention and fans on Instagram by posting her stunning pictures. It seems that just like her mom, she also wants to pursue her career in Bollywood.
Not so long ago, a leading website carried a feature on Aaliyah Ebrahim's pictures and shockingly that article got lots of negative comments about Aaliyah and her body. She was slut-shamed and called all sorts of horrible things. After reading all the negative comments both Pooja and Aaliyah wrote an open letter lashing out at the haters.
Aaliyah Ebrahim wrote, ''When I read the comments, my smile faded away. All anyone spoke about was how I was barely wearing any clothes, how I was just another "r**di," that "taking my clothes off" just made me an unworthy slut. I am more than my breasts and it is unfair to let them define me.''
And her mother Pooja Bedi too, thought of reacting on the matter, she wrote, ''Every woman has a right to wear whatever she wants to. To label a person on merely her dressing, all the while ignoring her other achievements as a person shows blatant repressiveness.''
Pooja Bedi added, ''A child who has got over 90 per cent in her board exams, who is now studying in one of the premier film institutes in the world, who has won a National award for art is indeed commendable. Girls like Aaliah should be role model for women across the board. It is your choice to be bothered by criticism or not.''
