As soon as the news of Baahubali 2 release date broke out, the word spread like wild-fire. While movie lovers and Baahubali fans across the globe are celebrating it, only a section of people apparently expressed mixed reaction. The section in question is none other than die-hard fans of Prabhas. Yes, you heard it right.
Prabhas fans are said to be upset with maverick director SS Rajamouli for slating the film's release for as late as April 2017 which is more than a year from now. As per the initial planning the second part of the film (Baahubali: The Conclusion) was expected to see the light of the day in Summer 2016. With Baahubali: The Beginning saw several release dates and caused delay, this in turn affected the sequel.
The announcement certainly has poured water on the hopes of many Prabhas fans who were eagerly waiting to see their favourite matinee idol in Baahubali followed by a mass film while Mirchi being the last. This is not all. Also, many are raising doubt whether Prabhas would tie the knot before the release of Baahubali 2 or will he wait till the release of Baahubali 2. If he waits till April 2017, this would also put them off as they've been waiting to see Prabhas as pellikoduku (bridegroom). And there's another section of Baahubali fans who can't wait up to 2017 to know the answer for pertinent question 'Why Kattappa killed Baahubali?'
