The much awaited courtroom drama flick “Manithan”, which is directed by I Ahmed, is on big screens now. “Manithan” is a remake of Bollywood film “Jolly LLB”, directed by Subhash Kapoor and it was released in the year 2013. Today, Udhayanidhi Stalin and Hansika stareer “Manithan” was released in a grand manner which is running in 250+ screens. Now let’s see how the team has impressed all the viewers.

Story:

The film begins with a rich man, who was seen driving a car in a drunken state. He losses his control in the middle and unintentionally, he hits and run on someone. Later, the story moves on to a small time lawyer Sakthi(Udhayanidhi). Sakthi once comes across a prominent criminal layer Adisheshan (Prakash Raj), who is dealing with the hit and run case, caused by the rich man.

Sakthi, who is desperate to earn good fame and money, decides to pursue the case. He files a PIL in the court against the acquittal, who caused the accident. Being a criminal layer, Adisheshan convinces the judge (Radha Ravi) by saying that, prosecution has no evidence to implicate his client and his client is targeted by the media, as he is from a rich family.

Sakthi starts investigating some evidences for winning the case and by the mean time, Sakthi and Adisheshan become rivals. Priya (Hansika Motwani) appears as Sakthi's fianc�e and she will also help Sakthi in finding out the clues for the case.

How Sakthi finds out the important clues?? will he wins the case?? forms the rest of the story.

Performance:

Udhayanidhi Stalin: He looks perfectly apt for the role of Sakthi, the actor is trying to modify himself in every project. He has done a splendid job.

Hansika: Her role was characterized well and she has limited role, she looks beautiful. She amazed the audiences with her performance.

Prakash Raj: We don’t have words to say about his acting skills. Once again, the actor has proved himself as a great actor with his top notch acting.

Radha Ravi: This veteran actor appeared as a Judge and he has given his best. He stole away the screen during the climax with his great performance.

Vivek: He is one of the actors who always keeps our mood light with his own way of cracks. He was good in his role.

Other cast and crew members who have got small portions also performed well and did a great job in their supporting roles.

Analysis:

Director Ahmed has handled the remake script very well, where it satisfied all the Tamil people and the wonderful characters has taken the movie to the top level. Madhi has shown the screen colorful. The tunes given by Santhosh Narayanan are excellent and the background score was great. The dialogues during climax between Udhay and Prakash Raj were heart touching.
