Looks like a dangerous trend is off-shooting in Tollywood of late. Recently, Power Star Pawan Kalyan flew down to Switzerland to shoot a couple of songs for his upcoming Sardaar Gabbar Singh without taking the film's director Bobby along. Now, hero Sundeep Kishan, who just gave yet another flop in his career with Run, is following Pawan's route.
Sundeep Kishan is currently in Kashmir shooting for a couple of songs for his next film Okka Ammayi Thappa, starring Nitya Menen. The film is being directed by Rajasimha Thadinada, the writer who worked on Allu Arjun's Telangana dialogues in Rudhramadevi.
However, Sundeep is shooting the songs in Kashmir while director Rajasimha is working on the film's post-production in Hyderabad. Latest buzz reveals that Sundeep Kishan's uncle and senior cameraman Chota K Naidu is overseeing the song shoot.
Okka Ammayi Thappa is set for its release later this summer and the unit is not in a hurry to release the film asap. There is enough time to complete the film's shooting and post-production and this makes one wonder why the unit has to sideline a debutant director. This definitely is not a healthy trend in Tollywood.
