Bengaluru to become 'death city' in five years: IISc

Experts at Indian Institute of Sciences (IISc) in Bengaluru have warned that the 'garden city' will turn in to 'death city' within another five years. Mindless urbanisation is the cause for this, they said. They blamed Bengaluru Development Authority (BDA) for the degradation of the city. Development in the city is thoughtless and without any foresight, they charged. Tourist experts said that real estate dealers and developers were influencing government decisions.
