Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu on Friday visited the RTC House in Vijayawada and inspected the facilities being provided for passengers.
Following the inspection, Chandrababu flagged off 15 newly purchased Amaravati buses that were modelled by Swedish manufacturer Scania. The RTC intends to popularize the name of AP capital city Amaravati and these buses will run to long distance destinations from Vijayawada to Bengaluru, Chennai and Visakhapatnam. The Chief Minister said that the bus stands in the state need to be modernized in order to provide better services to passengers.
